Day 4
Taipei 101, tallest building in the world to buy tickets, plan to come back in the evening but first it's over to ...

Lunch at Taiwan's Din Tai Feng. Yummy 小笼包!



西门町Shop!shop!shop!



Back to Taipei 101 for the 360-degree night view of the city


Paid a bit more to get to the 91st floor. It's freezing cold! And the wind is so strong! Here's a view from above.



Back to 西门町吃吃吃! (We tried some of the street stalls: 葱抓饼、地瓜球)



Huaxi Street night market (go only if you wanna try snake meat). Nothing much here.

Day 5 Breakfast at hotel. Hotel Check-out. Sunset viewed from the airplane.

Taipei Day 3 (6-May)

Day 3: Weather finally cleared up.

Beitou北投 - Famous for hot spring. We went Chingshui Park, Hot Spring Museum, Hot spring bath. A very laid-back place.




Danshui淡水 - 淡水老街吃吃吃 (Specialties: 鐵蛋,阿給淡水魚丸, 魚酥、 酸梅湯 and ice-cream) Didn't expect the place to be crowded with people during the weekend.



We watched the sunset at the waterfront.


Then it is back to Shilin night market吃吃吃!

Taipei Day 2 (5-May)

Day 2
DC:

故宫 Thought the photos turn out badly due to rain and fog. Well after some tweaking, it turned out mighty well. Tried out my new lens as well.




九份 Located on a mountain. Nice cooling weather but so much fog that day, can't take a single pic of the mountain scenery.



Taipei 101 Company activities.



Dinner was at this special restaurant. Looks weird but very extraordinary.



西门町: Company activities again but it's raining heavily now.

CP: Hotel check-in （Hehe, I arrived Taiwan late afternoon)
Shilin night market (Popular stuff: 蜂蜜苦瓜、刨冰、青蛙下蛋、鸡扒、甜不辣、卤肉饭、蚝仔煎, 蚝仔面线 and 臭豆腐)



DC: Met up with CP at Seasons hotel. Super comfy hotel room. Finally can rest my tired legs. It's a far cry from the Taoyuan Holiday Hotel.

Taipei Fun Trip (04 May 2007 - 08 May 2007)

Day 1
DC:
Taoyuan (Holiday) Hotel
They lost the lawsuit against the Holiday Inn brand, thus need to remove "Holiday" from the name. I arrive there with my company on Friday.



Shilin night market
Long queue for the 大鸡排. At NT$45, it's super BIG, super worth it.
