Back in Tokyo

So here we are, after a long flight with transit in Hong Kong, we finally touched down in Japan, Tokyo at 20:15 hrs local time.

When we saw the queue at the customs, we knew we would miss both the Airport Limousine and the Narita Express train.

We have decided to take the Airport Limousine as it will take as straight to the hotel. The next bus is 35 min away at 21:35 hrs.

Cost: 3000 YEN per person.

Weather's about 6 degrees Celsius. It wasn't that cold actually but then, it's not raining nor there's much of a wind.

Reached hotel slightly before 23:00 hrs. We got a twin room but were too lazy to ask for a change.

Rooms has a lot of power plugs, right on the writing desk, besides the bed. Just nice for powering the laptop, charging the handphones, cameras, no lack of power outlets.

Shaver, toothbrushes provided, no bottled water though. It's about 10 min walk down slope to Shinagawa JR station. I doubt we will choose this hotel again. We preferred the Shinagawa Prince, which is just across the road from the JR station.

Most of the hotal staff can understand and speak some English, so communication isn't a problem. There's a shuttle service to Shinagawa JR station and Disneyland but you got to make reservations in advance.
