We made our way to Lotte Hotel, which is also the meeting point for the DMZ tour tomorrow. Our aim is to find Myeong-dong. Little did we realise how near the Myeong-dong district was to our hotel.
Along the way, we saw

Finally, we made it into Myeong-dong. You can tell by the crowd and the neon lights.

Anyway, our aim is to find THE O'Sulloc. We didn't find it. Instead, we stumbled on a ginseng chicken joint. Ok, why not? They offered roasted chicken as well.
This is a recommended restaurant in Myeong-dong but we didn't know it at that time.
Yeongyang Center
Nice cripsy skin.

Again, side dishes included.

Menu and prices.

Ginseng chicken.

The ginseng is actually stuffed in the chicken, together with rice. Thus, you can't really taste the ginseng in the soup.
The weather's getting cold at night, we decided to walk back to the hotel to grab a warmer jacket.
Again, we took a wrong turn. Along the way, we came across this restaurant serving gyoza. It has a long queue, right up to the 2nd level.

It turned out to be one of the most popular and recommended restaurants in Seoul.
As luck would have it, at the next junction, we stumbled upon O'Sulloc!

What's unique is O'Sulloc specialised in green tea desserts.
Green Tea Tiramisu

Cacao Tart

Green Tea Jelly

Needless to say, we were all smiles to dig into the delicacies. The tea was refreshing and helps to wash down the sweetness of the desserts.
Satisfied we were, finally. The night is still early, the crowd still aplenty. We hurried back to grab our coats. Next it's off to Dongdaemun.

Very near to Dongdaemun are the Cheong Gye Cheon stream and a night market. The stream is the same one that we went to earlier in the day.

Night Market

Tent selling food, like what you see in the Korean dramas.

We didn't go in because not sure if they could speak English and we were afraid that we would smell of food after we come out.
So it's back to the hotel for a night's rest. The DMZ beckons tomorrow.
